Birmingham City will surely head into their weekend game against Leeds United feeling they can cause a shock at Elland Road.

Of course, the Whites will be favourites, but they haven't convinced on their own patch this season, whilst Blues put in a fantastic performance against Middlesbrough last time out.

That ended a run of three successive defeats and lifted Pep Clotet's side back into the top half.

The challenge for Blues will be to build on that performance over the coming weeks as they look to kick-on and here we look at TWO players in form and TWO struggling at St. Andrew's...

Jude Bellingham

The 16-year-old has been the breakout star for the west Midlands outfit this season and looks as though he has the potential to be a top player.

He already has made decisive impacts in the league, scoring two winning goals, but his most impressive display came against Boro when he helped control the midfield in a more central position. He has made that role his own and could be crucial to the team moving forward.

Ivan Sunjic

The Croatian arrived at Birmingham with a massive reputation and whilst he was by no means poor early on in the campaign, he slightly disappointed.

However, he has really picked up in recent weeks, scoring a marvellous goal against Derby before following that up with a man of the match showing against Boro.

Jake Clarke-Salter

The centre-back arrived in the summer with a good reputation having come through the ranks at Chelsea and captaining England's U21 side.

Yet, he has made just two appearances for his new club, where they lost 3-0 at Portsmouth in the League Cup and more recently in a 1-0 loss at Wigan. He's going to struggle to get into the XI unless injuries or suspensions hit.

David Davis

Having been an ever-present for the first eight games of the campaign, the ex-Wolves man has not been involved in the previous three and it's fair to say most fans were glad to see Clotet make that change.

And, the way the midfield seemed to click without him in the previous game suggests he will struggle to get back in.
