Aston Villa travel to Ipswich Town tomorrow knowing they need a win if they are to keep alive their extremely faint automatic promotion hopes.

Steve Bruce's men are three points behind Fulham and four behind Cardiff, with the Welsh side also having a game in hand. However, Fulham face an extremely tough task away at Millwall tonight and Cardiff have stuttered in recent weeks.

Whilst no Villa fan will be expecting a top two finish now, they have nothing to lose with a play-off place guaranteed so will go all-out for nine points from their next three and see where it leaves them.

That starts at Portman Road, although their task hasn't been made easier after Bruce was hit with more injury woes.

Here we look at three men who will miss the Ipswich game.

The experienced full-back had done very well this season in an unnatural left-back role and has been missed in recent weeks.

After a month long absence, he last played against Hull City at the end of March but is yet to return and will miss the game tomorrow...

Steve Bruce's defensive problems have increased with the Manchester United loanee joining Hutton on the treatment table.

He lasted just 25 minutes in the recent win over Cardiff after an ankle injury forced him off.

Not only will that keep him out of the game tomorrow but the manager revealed today that he is likely to miss the rest of the season too.

A big blow for Villa is that their striker is also missing tomorrow.

The former Bristol City man is not long back after a long lay-off with an ankle injury and Bruce revealed he has complained that his ankle is sore now.

However, the former Birmingham boss wasn't concerned, suggesting it's normal after months out. Although, he won't be risked tomorrow.
