Stoke City's dismal start to the 18/19 campaign continued at the weekend with a 2-2 draw at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.

The Potters led 2-0 thanks to a Benik Afobe brace, however two defensive errors cost Gary Rowett's men, and are still searching for only their second league win of the campaign.

Games come thick and fast in the Championship however, and the Potters will be looking to get back to winning ways as they prepare to host Swansea City, who have been on a decent run of form of late.

If Rowett's men ever had a perfect chance of beating the Swans, it is now, with Graham Potter's men being plagued with injuries in their midfield, meaning that right-back Kyle Naughton may have to fill in at centre midfield for the Welsh side.

It still won't be an easy match for Stoke, and here, we take a look at the side we expect Gary Rowett will name to face Swansea tonight...

Butland looks to have settled down now after a summer of speculation linking him with a move away from the club.

Martina has been an everpresent under Rowett this term and isn't expected to be dropped anytime soon.

Shawcross has come under major criticism by Stoke fans in recent weeks, however someone of his experience should be able to recapture his form from recent years and shore up Stoke's leaky defence.

Martins Indi has also been a player that has been questioned by Stoke fans, but looks to be favoured over Ashley Williams since the Everton loanee's suspension against Wigan Athletic a few weeks ago.

Pieters completes an unchanged back line following a string of decent performances at left-back.

Etebo has been one of Stoke's standout performers this term; the Nigerian international has brought energy and tenaciousness to the Stoke midfield and looks to be a key asset for the Potters

Big things are expected of Woods following his arrival from Brentford; the midfielder was perhaps the Bees' standout player over the last two years, and the Bet365 Stadium faithful will be itching to see him make his home debut tonight.

Allen has put in a few lethargic performances of late, but on his day he is a comfortable Premier League quality midfielder and when he's on his game, he'll make things tick for City.

Ince made a return to the starting eleven against Wednesday, and will look to replicate the form shown under Rowett at Derby where he was the Rams' talisman.

Fresh off his two goals against Wednesday, Afobe will be looking to be on the scoresheet once again tonight; he can spearhead the Potters up into the promotion places for sure.

Diouf has been a consistent starter for Stoke following their relegation from the top flight, and completes an unchanged lineup from the team that drew at Hillsborough on Saturday afternoon.
