Nottingham Forest travel to the Liberty Stadium this weekend to take on Swansea City.

Aitor Karanka’s merry men will be hoping to add to their solitary win this season, despite only having lost once in six games..

Four draws have stalled Forest’s charge up the league with an influx of new players still looking to find their feet at the club, and in the division.

Having made 16 signings this season, the most recent being Claudio Yacob, Karanka has decisions to make all over the pitch as to what formation he will deploy, and what personnel will be given a chance to play the system.

Michael Dawson is fit again after a calf injury, with Adlene Guedioura set to feature for Forest wearing a facial mask after fracturing his cheekbone.

With that said, here are the Nottingham Forest players will miss out tomorrow’s clash with Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium.

The summer signing is set to miss out on a trip to Wales.

Hillal Soudani has a knee injury that will force him out of this Saturday’s clash.

The striker is recovering, but he is not yet fully fit to feature this weekend, with the midweek round of games also potentially coming too soon for the forward.

The striker is doubtful for the match against Swansea having had a slight knee problem in recent weeks.

Joe Lolley has been a superb impact player from the bench for Aitor Karanka’s side, having stared in the fightback against Birmingham to snatch a draw.

But this weekend could come too soon for the striker who could be in with a shout to play in midweek.

The on-loan right-back is sure to miss this weekend, and the next three to four months.

Sam Byram picked up a knee injury in the win over Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup and has since returned to his parent club for treatment.

The defender has had surgery on the injury, and there is no specific timescale as to when he will be fit again.

The prognosis currently is for a return at some point in the new year.
