Nottingham Forest host Birmingham City in the late kick-off on Saturday afternoon in the Championship, hoping to pick up another win.

After a last gasp draw at Wigan Athletic, Nottingham Forest will be hoping to get back to winning ways, while Birmingham lost their midweek fixture at Bolton Wanderers.

Ahead of the clash with Birmingham, there are few fresh injury concerns for Aitor Karanka to worry about.

Adlene Guedioura is unlikely to be in the side after suffering a fractured cheekbone against Wigan and Joe Lolley was also withdrawn against the Latics with a knock, but he should be fit.

Jordan Smith is back from his one match suspension but he is unlikely to start in goal anyway, while Diogo Goncalves, Ben Brereton and Joe Worrall will hope to be included after missing out on last Saturday's squad.

Here is the Nottingham Forest starting XI that we expect Karanka to field when Birmingham visit the City Ground on Saturday evening.

Despite Smith returning from suspension, there is no danger that Pantilimon will be replaced by him or Luke Steele.

Darikwa is likely to continue ahead of Sam Byram in the right-back position.

Portuguese centre-back Figueiredo is an accomplished defender and is expected to keep his spot.

Karanka likes having the left-footed option of Fox at centre-half, rather than the experience of Michael Dawson.

Osborn could be moved further forward with Jack Robinson moving to left-back but I expect Karanka will stick with the same back four as last week.

This is the enforced change: Guedioura's facial injury paves the way for Watson to return to the starting line-up, although Ryan Yates is knocking on the door too.

Colback is likely to keep his place in the side and he will wait to see who his central midfield partner will be.

Cash scored against Wigan and produced a good enough performance to merit another start.

Carvalho has not scored yet and registered one assist in four games but you can expect Forest's record signing to improve those figures as he gets used to English conditions.

Dias could get a recall to the starting XI in place of Lolley, if Karanka feels that the Englishman is not 100% fit.

Lewis Grabban is yet to score and he missed a penalty last weekend, while Soudani has been knocking on the door with two goals from the bench.
