Aston Villa will be hoping to make it three wins from three in the league tomorrow when they travel to take on Paul Hurst's new-look Ipswich Town side.

After a turbulent summer, the West Midlands side are now in a strong position, having kept hold of star man Jack Grealish and added to Steve Bruce's squad.

Given that, promotion is now a very realistic aim and Bruce will want to continue this early-season form with a win at Portman Road.

It's going to be a tough test though, as the Tractor Boys have enjoyed a productive summer, with the club backing Hurst significantly in the market.

Nevertheless, everyone connected to Villa will feel as though it's a game that can bring three points.

Here we look at the XI we expect Bruce to go with for the encounter...

The new keeper has signed to be the number one and should continue in goal after making his debut last week.

Bruce has a decision about where to start Hutton, but it seems likely that he will get a chance on the right and he will look to bomb forward at every opportunity.

The skipper is one of the first names on the teamsheet for Bruce.

Villa are short on numbers in central defence, with Tuanzebe sure to be given a chance to form a successful partnership with Chester in the upcoming games.

Taylor hasn't convinced in his Villa career but gives balance to the team with his left-foot.

The star man will look to drive forward from midfield and will be the key creative player for this team.

The Icelandic international will be the most disciplined of the midfield three, sitting deep and will look to give the attacking players a platform to perform.

McGinn had a superb debut against Wigan last week and will be a key player at Portman Road and in the months to come.

The former Hull man has done well from a more advanced role this season, including scoring against the Tigers.

The youngster will provide pace and a threat in behind for Villa from the left flank.

The Ivory Coast international has struggled this season but is still a fine player at this level and will be desperate to get off the mark.
