Charlton Athletic picked their result of the season so far in midweek when they took three points from their clash with table-toppers Portsmouth at Fratton Park.

Goals from Karlan Ahearne-Grant and substitute Nicky Ajose cancelled out Andre Green's late consolation to move the Addicks comfortably into the playoff positions.

Lee Bowyer has impressively managed his side this season, under torrid club circumstances, and has begun to steadily pick up the pace in recent weeks.

They have now won four out of their last five matches, moving them up into fifth place, just four points behind Luton Town who currently occupy the final automatic promotion spot.

They will have a great chance to close the gap even further when they welcome strugglers AFC Wimbledon to the Valley.

But Bowyer will have to contend with a few first-team injury concerns from the midweek clash, with Lyle Taylor, Karlan Ahearne-Grant and Mark Marshall all doubts for the clash.

So, here is how we expect them to line-up for the clash...

There's no reason for Steer not to continue in goal.

He has not set the world alight but you should not need your goalkeeper to. Solid, consistent performances are what is required and that is what Steer offers.

After sitting out the Pompey victory, expect to see Solly return.

The 27-year-old suffered a knee injury that ruled him out for a while at the end of last season and is still struggling with the Saturday-Tuesday pattern of play.

Expect to see him back tomorrow though.

There's no reason for Bowyer to change things in the centre of defence.

Bauer has been impressive all season and is almost guaranteed to carry on in the heart of the defence.

Partnering him will be the experienced Jason Pearce.

The 31-year-old has been a rock and a much-needed figure of consistency at the back for the Addicks which has helped pull them through more than once this season.

At left-back expect to see Naby Sarr continue.

He was a constant threat at all times down the left-wing against Pompey on Tuesday night but also proved his defensive prowess at times.

On the right of what will be a centre-midfield trio will be youngster George Lapslie.

Like many others, he impressed on Tuesday night and it would be harsh of Bowyer to leave him out on Saturday.

Despite taking a facial battering on Tuesday night, Bielkik should be fine to face the Wombles.

Naturally a centre-back, the Arsenal loanee has been a revelation since being moved to the holding midfield role.

Credit must go to Bowyer for spotting his credentials in that area.

There is a lot of talk surrounding Aribo at the moment but it will be hard to leave him out.

The midfielder looks set to be the next big sale from the Charlton academy but Bowyer will need him focused until he is poached by a big name.

In attacking midfield will be Marshall.

He took a knock towards the end of the Portsmouth match after replacing Ben Reeves, but Bowyer will be keen to start him.

And with injuries to their two star strikers, and a lack of options to replace them, Reeves is likely to continue alongside Marshall.

Bowyer will be confident of getting a result with neither Taylor or Ahearne-Grant against the woeful Wombles.

This is where the big changes could come in.

With Ahearne-Grant coming off before half-time it is unlikely that he will be risked, meaning the man who replaced him and scored that night will start.
