Aston Villa striker Tammy Abraham has shared a post-match update after he sent his side to the Championship play-off final on Tuesday night.

He buried the deciding spot-kick as cooly as he always does to confirm the first spot at Wembley and knock West Brom out in the process.

Taking to Twitter, Abraham shared a photograph of himself walking towards the spot along with the caption: "Walking to Wembley like ????????‍♂️????❤️"

Craig Dawson's first half header swung the momentum firmly in the favour of the Baggies, levelling the scores 2-2 on aggregate but that is how it would remain for 90 minutes.

In the 80th minute, Chris Brunt went flying into a tackle on John McGinn on the edge of the West Brom box, earning him a second-yellow card in the process and making extra-time far easier than it could have been for Dean Smith's side.

And after an uneventful 30 minutes, it was penalties, and with Jed Steer saving from Mason Holgate and Ahmed Hegazi, it eventually fell to Abraham to seal the win which he did with ease.

The verdict

Having already buried one spot-kick in the first-leg, Abraham showed nerves of steel to step up and do the same in an even more pressured scenario.

But he did so and edged himself even closer to becoming an Aston Villa legend.
