Barrie McKay is in Greece for talks with Olympiacos as he nears an exit from Nottingham Forest.
The talented winger signed from Rangers last summer and initially impressed with plenty of eye-catching displays under Mark Warburton for Forest.
He did, however, start to struggle and under Aitor Karanka he fell down the pecking order as the likes of Matty Cash came to the fore.
McKay could be off this summer window, then, with the Daily Record’s transfer blog (11:55) stating that the winger is in Greece for talks with his potential new side.
They are, though, only a potential destination for him right now with the report also suggesting that offers from Russia, Germany and here in England are also on the table for the young winger.
McKay has a decision to make and you can understand why a number of clubs want him.
Yes, he struggled at Forest after a bright start but he is still a talented young player and the right move could see him get back on track career-wise.
He’s got plenty of offers to look over by the looks of things, then, and it remains to be seen exactly what he decides to do.
