Sheffield Wednesday currently sit in 11th place after a mixed-bag of a start under Lee Bullen's temporary leadership, winning three and losing three during their opening six matches.

This weekend sees them come up against Huddersfield Town, who look set to have a new manager in the dug-out in the form of Lincoln City boss Danny Cowley.

However, Wednesday will also have a new man picking the team with Garry Monk being confirmed as their new permanent manager last week.

The former Birmingham City boss replaces Steve Bruce in the Owls' dugout, after he controversially left in the summer for Newcastle United, and has sent a personal message to his new fans for the welcome they have given him.

Monk was sacked as Birmingham manager in the summer, despite leading the Blues to an impressive 17th place finish in a campaign that included a nine-point deduction in March.

But, judging by this reaction, he looks set to be well liked at his new club...
