Cardiff City extended their unbeaten home run in the Championship as they drew 1-1 with fellow promotion hopefuls Fulham last night.

Despite conceding the majority of possession to Scott Parker's side, the Bluebirds took the lead through Josh Murphy in the 42nd minute, however Aleksandar Mitrovic replied just before the half-time whistle for the visitors.

The defining moment in the game saw former Cardiff loanee Harry Arter given a second yellow card for diving midway through the second period and after that Neil Warnock's side pressed for a winner.

However, they failed to create too many clear chances, with skipper Sean Morrison guilty of missing the best opportunity when he headed wide late on.

So, the Welsh side had to settle for a point, which leaves them tenth in the league ahead of today's fixtures.

And, it's fair to say the result prompted a mixed response from the fans. Some were pleased that they battled to a point against an undoubtedly talented Cottagers side, although others saw it is a missed chance given the red card.
