Throughout much of last season West Brom looked like they were on their way straight back to the Premier League.

Darren Moore managed to carry the brilliant form showed towards the end of their time in the Premier League into the second-tier with his newly formed attack of Harvey Barnes, Dwight Gayle and Jay Rodriguez proving lethal.

Having played for the club and been involved with the coaching set-up for years, he was somebody the fans saw as one of their own.

However, after Chrsitmas, the form slipped and West Brom tumbled out of the race for automatic promotion and, following a 1-1 draw with Ipswich, Moore was sacked.

Jimmy Shan took over and led a spirited charge in the play-offs, but it ultimately ended in defeat to Aston Villa.

But flashforward to Wednesday, however, and Moore is back in work having accepted the Doncaster Rovers managers job.

And it is safe to say that the Baggies' fans were delighted for him...
