Leeds United's Under-23s side moved up to fifth in the table as they ran out 2-0 winners over Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium on Monday evening.

The Whites have now won back-to-back games for the first time since August, and they'll be keen to build on these impressive showings heading into the festive period.

Ryan Edmondson continued his good run of form in front of goal for Carlos Corberan's side, but it was Jordan Stevens' goal which stole the headlines.

The midfielder was played through by an expertly-weighted through ball from youngster Alfie McCalmont on the day, with Stevens firing home clinically from inside the penalty area.

Corberan's side will be hoping they can replicate the strong performances shown by Marcelo Bielsa's first team this season, as they go in search of promotion to the Premier League.
