Charlton were able to hold on to a goalless draw on Wednesday night when they hosted Fulham at The Valley.
The Addicks have now only managed one win in their last 17 matches and the pressure is beginning to heap on the side as they edge nearer to the relegation zone.
It was a performance that was full of guts and energy, but in the end neither side couldn’t quite find that bit of quality that was needed to unlock the door.
It is another good point for Charlton and it keeps them ticking over as they await the return of key players from injury.
Lee Bowyer’s side have been riddled with injuries throughout the campaign and it seems as though there’s less expectation on the team when without a lot of the first-team.
Here’s how Charlton supporters reacted to the goalless draw against Fulham on Wednesday…

Good point tonight but as I said to your half time tweet, we were certainly NOT the better team by a long shot! I expect more from an official site tbh, if you didn’t see the game you’d have been completely mislead! Great effort by the lads, Hemed and Purrington poor tonight IMO

Cullen makes such a difference to our shape. Intelligent footballer. Good to have him back fit. 🔴⚪️ #cafc

Excellent results, got tactics spot on and a clean sheet which is great. It's not many times this year we have drawn 0-0 but I feel this is a great one. Excellent start to Bowyer signing his contract, now hopefully the new signings come flooding in. Well done tonight 👏🏼👏🏼

We were not the better side. Defended well and real backs to the wall first half. Looked better second half but need to stop giving the ball away cheaply. Hard earned point tho and good result #cafc

Stretching it to say we were the better side. Fulham were the better side for the 1st half and maybe even an hour but we kept them out and when Jonny and Lyle came on there was only one team likely to win it, barring a silly defensive mistake buy us.

Very decent point to build on. Defensively solid enough, with a bit more creativity when the likes of Williams and Taylor are starting, we should be having a massive February

We weren’t the better side, please stop. But well happy with a point.
