Swansea City Head Coach Steve Cooper has his focus solely on his side’s upcoming opponents as the Swans take on Huddersfield Town at the John Smith’s Stadium this evening.

Last time out in the Championship, Swansea were left disappointed as Millwall took the points from the Liberty Stadium back to South London with a 1-0 win on Saturday.

The result saw The Swans drop to 6th in the league, but they have a chance to bounce back immediately against a Huddersfield side without a win in their last two league games.

It will be Swansea's second game out of three in the space of six days, but Cooper and his players will desperate to climb back up the table despite also not winning either of their last two.

Speaking to the club website, Cooper acknowledged last weekend's disappointing defeat but he wants his side to move forward.

“We're disappointed (with the Millwall defeat) but we have to try and put it behind us and get ready for a game away at Huddersfield," he said.

“As always, we need to pick the right team for the game in front of us. We won't have Fulham in mind, we've just got to take each game as it comes.”

The Verdict

Swansea will not want to go back on another poor run as they take on an inconsistent Huddersfield side this evening.

One positive aspect of their season that the Swans can take into their upcoming game against the Yorkshire side is that they have only lost one game away from home.
