Swansea City would have needed a miracle on the final day of the Premier League season to avoid relegation. Despite Southampton’s loss at the hands of champions Manchester City, Swansea finished the season in a disappointing 18th place, just three points from safety.

With players retiring, leaving the club and returning to their parent clubs, Swansea will be in the market for new players. And, with their parachute payments, will have money to spend.

They will likely go into next season as one of the favourites for promotion next season, as they hold a relatively strong team. But, will be hoping to add to their squad and secure themselves top flight football once more.

Here is three deals that could see Swansea City bounce straight back to the Premier League next season.

The 20-year-old striker made 39 appearances for the Swans in all competitions this season during his loan spell from Chelsea.

While he didn’t enjoy the success in front of goal that many had hoped in his first full Premier League season, Abraham is familiar with finding the net in the Championship after his spell at Bristol City in 2016, finishing the season with 23 goals to his name.

If the Swans can secure a permanent deal, the other Championship clubs should be scared of what the youngster can do.

The 22-year-old midfielder started his career coming through the youth set up at Arsenal, before his move to Dundee United back in 2017.

The Finish international has impressed throughout this campaign, taking the field 42 times in all competitions, and helping his side finish ninth in the Scottish Premier League.

With Ki Sung Yueng leaving the club and Leon Britton departing, the central midfield position will be left open for a newcomer next season.

Franco Cervi currently plays as a winger for Portuguese side Benfica, but could make the perfect signing for Carlos Carvalhal’s side.

The 23-year-old has Champions League experience, but after starting just over half the games this season, could be looking for regular first team football.

While dipping into the Championship may not be the most appealing for Cervi, if Swansea City can land the Argentine, they would certainly be getting a strong player.
