There may still be uncertainty around just who will be taking charge of their side next season – not to mention speculation around key players, but Swansea’s squad won’t want that to distract from their summer break.
Having ultimately missed out on the play-offs following a slow start to the season, the Wales based side ended the year promisingly, even so to convince Premier League Brighton to poach manager Graham Potter for themselves.
While it is not yet known who will take over from Potter at the Liberty Stadium, Swansea’s squad will not be focusing on that just now as they enjoy their break from football.
Here, we look at how some of their side have been spending their summer in our latest social media round up.

One of those who has been linked with a move away from Swansea in the summer, McBurnie has been focusing on a different type of contest recently.
The striker recently headed to America, where on Saturday he watched Anthony Joshua suffer one of the biggest shocks in boxing history as he lost his world titles to unfancied stand in Andy Ruiz Jr, who, judging by the flag in his Twitter post, had the support of McBurnie.
Mike van der Hoorn
Swansea’s captain, who only recently signed a contract with the club for next season, doesn’t seem to have stopped being active simply because he’s got a break from football.
Van der Hoorn has headed to France, where he recently posted a picture of himself on Instagram enjoying some paddle-boarding.

There is not one day goes by that I don’t miss you, you are my inspiration and I wouldn’t be where I am today without you. I couldn’t be prouder as a son. You have never pushed me into anything I didn’t want to, you always wanted me to do what makes me happy. Words can’t describe the pain I’m feeling now, I just want you to know how much I love you and how much you will be missed by all of us. You put a smile on everyone’s faces with your silly jokes and never failed to make anyone laugh. Thankyou for everything you have ever done for me I couldn’t ask for anyone better, I will make you proud I promise! RIP Dad❤️
After recently losing his father, Dan James issued an emotional message on his Instagram page stating he would make his Dad proud.
Currently, the Wales international is being heavily linked with a move to Manchester United, and if that materialises, he could have the chance to shine on one of the world’s biggest stages.
Regardless of that move, he is sure to be looking to build on an impressive progress when the season resumes to deliver on this emotional promise.
