Swansea City have enjoyed a brilliant start to their Championship season, with the south Wales club currently sitting in second position having won five, drawn three and lost one.

Next up for the Swans is a tough away trip to fellow high flyers Charlton Athletic, who have made a great start to their first season back in the Championship after getting promoted last season from League One via the playoffs. With the Addicks currently sitting in sixth place, this promises to be a great match between two sides who love to play attacking football.

Swansea striker Borja Baston is a man that is never far away when attacking football is concerned, with the Spaniard having been in sparkling form for the Welsh club this season since returning from a loan spell in La Liga during the summer, scoring six and assisting one in his first nine games this term.

And the forward seems to be in good spirits ahead of tomorrow night's clash at the Valley, with the 27-year-old posting the following message on his official Twitter account earlier today:

The Verdict

This will be a positive message for Swansea fans, with Baston having finally settled at the club after a disappointing start to his career in south Wales after arriving from Spanish giants Atletico Madrid back in 2016, with the Spaniard's poor form leading to him being subsequently loaned out to both Malaga and Deportivo Alaves.

With tomorrow night's game set to be one of the Swan's toughest tests so far, both Cooper and the Swansea faithful alike will be hoping that Baston can continue his refound scoring form, particularly with the striker having only netted once in his last four league games this term.

To conclude, perhaps the biggest surprise is that Baston is still at the club, with many believing that his days at the club would be numbered after leaving on loan last season to Spain.
