Swansea City and Leeds United played out an entertaining draw last night at the Liberty Stadium as they drew 2-2 in the Sky Bet Championship.

Both sides have started well this year and look set to challenge for promotion if they can keep their respective runs of form up.

Certainly, it was a game that could have been won by either side and Oli McBurnie was the star of the show as he hit a brace for the home side.

He was feeling bullish after the game, too, with him claiming that the result will have shut a lot of people up after they should have been hammered by Birmingham last time out.

As quoted by the BBC, the striker said:

"I guess everyone expected us to get pumped after the weekend and we've shut a lot of people up with that performance."

Certainly, it was a much better showing from the Swans but far from out of character this season.

They did well at Sheffield United and against Preston so it should be assumed that the Swans will be tough to beat this season.

The Verdict

McBurnie is looking like one of the men to watch this season.

He's grown in stature and looks a proper number 9 that will give plenty of defences a headache this year.

He seems well motivated and that's a good thing for his club.
