Swansea City endured a tough 2021/22 Championship campaign.

After their play-off exploits the season prior, the Swans could only manage 15th place in the final league standings.

With that being said, though, there are reasons to be optimistic moving forwards with Russell Martin at the helm.

With the season still over a month away, for a bit of fun, here at FLW we've put together what we think is the best 5-a-side team you can make from the current Swansea City squad.

Let us know if you agree!

For the man in between the sticks, we've opted for Swansea's first-choice goalkeeper Andy Fisher.

Fisher claimed the number one role back in February after his January move from MK Dons and never lost it as the season came to a close.

Wanting this to be an attacking side, as our defender, we chose full-back Ryan Manning, purely for his ability to defend and contribute and get forward offensively.

Last season, the 26-year-old scored two goals and registered four assists from defence.

In the midfield/defensive position, captain Matt Grimes was an obvious choice.

The Swans captain can do a bit of everything and isn't afraid to put in a tackle if need be.

As a front two in a slightly asymmetrical line up, we couldn't look beyond Swans stars Michael Obafemi and Joel Piroe.

Their numbers speak for themselves - Obafemi scored 12 goals and registered three assists last campaign, whilst Piroe netted an impressive 24 goals for the club in all competitions.

With those two in attack, goals should not be a problem for this side.
