Newly relegated Swansea City could be set to boost their squad with a move for Swedish pair Saman Ghoddos and Kerim Mrabti, according to a report from Alan Nixon.

Swans' new manager Graham Potter knows both players well from his time in Sweden, especially Ghoddos, who was part of Potter's success with former club Osterunds.

But now it looks like Potter is keen to bring his former forward to Wales, as well as eyeing up a move for midfielder Mrabti, who plays for Djurgardens.

Swansea will be looking to bring in some new blood this summer following their relegation from the Premier League last term and will no doubt be keen on new manager Potter making use of his contacts from Sweden in the hope of unearthing a few hidden gems.

Ghoddos actually holds dual nationality, having played for both Sweden and Iran, and has been a regular among the goals for Osterunds over the last three seasons.

Potter will be hoping the 24-year-old fancies the move to the English game as he looks to guide the Swans back to the top flight at the first time of action.

Swansea fans, what do you think? Would you take these as good signings? Let us know!
