Swansea are considering making a move for Brentford striker Scott Hogan, according to Teamtalk.

Brentford forward Scott Hogan has picked up his form from the end of last season by continuing his hot goalscoring streak this year.

He smashed a hat trick this weekend against Preston to take his goal tally to six in nine appearances for the Bees this season.

The 24-year-old was linked with a move to Hull City during the summer window at a rumoured price of £7m but the move never materialised and Brentford kept their star man.

They could be in danger of losing him this January, however, as Swansea seem to have joined to race to land his signature.

Hogan started his career in non-league and then earned his move to the Football League with Rochdale in 2013 after successful spells with Woodley Sports, Stocksbridge Park Steels, Ashton United and Hyde.

After a prolific year for Rochdale, he joined Brentford in summer 2014 but his first season was plagued with injury.

He has risen to prominence since his return, though, and hit 13 goals in 16 appearances for Brentford and consequently earned admirers from the top tier.

Brentford fans - What do you think? Will Hogan leave the club in January? What price would you demand for your star striker? Can you resist bids from the Premier League?
