Swansea City striker Oli McBurnie has taken to Twitter to give his post-match thoughts on Tuesday night's 2-2 draw with Leeds United at the Liberty Stadium.

The striker took his tally to three goals in four league games with a double against Marcelo Bielsa's flying Whites squad, to take Graham Potter's side up to third in the Championship table.

McBurnie's goals twice gave Swansea the lead only for a resilient Leeds to cancel out both strikes.

The 22-year-old's opener came on the 24th minute as he prodded the ball into the net after brilliant build-up play between Barrie McKay and Bersant Celina after Leroy Fer had robbed Kalvin Phillips of the ball.

Kemar Roofe equalised five minutes before the break and it would have been no surprise if Leeds had gone onto win comfortably from there.

But the Swans bounced back impressively through McBurnie again, this time brilliantly heading home Martin Olsson's cross on the 50th minute.

Former City player Pablo Hernandez brought the Whites level again on the 79th minute, perhaps justifying McBurnie's disappointment with the result.

The verdict

Graham Potter is doing a great job in South Wales after a fairly limited transfer window and he is really getting the most of the squad at his disposal.

Implementing McBurnie has been a big part of that success and the Scot has repaid the faith the manager has shown in him, continuing the fine form he showed at Barnsley last season.
