Wolverhampton Wanderers may not be enjoying the best of seasons, with the club sitting just five points above the drop zone and have lingered there for the majority of this campaign - even with the change in manager.

People could argue that getting rid of Walter Zenga, who was appointed as boss last summer, was a bad decision by the Wolves board as their replacement has probably done a worse job than the Italian.

The team lie 16th in the Championship but may go into the international break in high spirits, having come away from London with all three points when they overcame play-off hopefuls Fulham at the weekend.

It hasn't been all doom and gloom at Molineux this year, however, with one or two members of the first-team being surprise packages and performing their best despite the lacklustre position in the league table.

Here are TWO players who have come out of nowhere and been revelations this season at Wolves....

Conor Coady

The former Liverpool midfielder has literally been one of the best players at Wolverhampton Wanderers this year, as the 24 year-old is one of a few to keep their place in the squad for practically every match.

Conor Coady made the switch to the Midlands from Yorkshire in the summer of 2015 when he put pen-to-paper on a three-year deal at Molineux for an undisclosed fee, moving away from Huddersfield Town.

Mainly being utilised in the defensive midfield position, Coady has made 32 Championship appearances in the 2016/17 campaign so far and his versatility has massively helped him in his revelation this year - being able to slot in at right-back or even on the wing.

George Saville

George Saville has been at the club for one year longer than Conor Coady and the only difference in this man is that he plays further up the field than his team-mate, but did have a poor campaign last year as well.

The 23 year-old was once tipped for a bright future, however, that had become bleak before this season having been sent on loan to Bristol City and Millwall just after signing on at Wolves from Chelsea.

A true box-to-box midfielder, Saville has only featured on 21 occasions in the Championship for the first-team but that is a vast improvement on the previous year and his presence has been vital to Paul Lambert's men; if they stay up then his contribution will have been very important.

Wolves supporters, do you agree? Have these two improved from last season? Who else would you say has? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
