Leeds United are looking well set to confirm a playoff place, and they might just win promotion come the end of the season with a bit of luck.

Their squad is full of excellent players, and Garry Monk has added a mix of youth and experience at Elland Road to bring success to the club.

One of the big things Monk has managed to do is get players who many might not have expected to be the best performers, to become some of the first names on the team sheet at Elland Road.

This management skill has allowed Leeds to be successful, and some of their players have been revelations when many might have expected them to struggle.

With this in mind, we have taken a look at TWO Leeds United players who have come out of nowhere and been revelations this term...

Pontus Jansson

Not many had heard of the big defender when he joined in the summer, but he has turned out to be one of the best signings of the season.

Jansson is solid and dependable, and he has arguably been Leeds' player of the season barring Chris Wood. If Leeds do go up, then Jansson will have played a massive part in that achievement.

Ronaldo Vieira

A young midfielder was rated by previous manager Steve Evans, Vieira has been given the chance by Garry Monk and seized it.

His form has been hugely impressive, and for a teenager to come from the youth team and impress so easily at first team level, it really is a testament to his outstanding ability.

Vieira should go on to have a tremendous career, and this season has really been the making of him.
