Leeds United are set to recall forgotten winger, Hadi Sacko this month after a disappointing loan spell at Las Palmas according to La Provincia.

The Spanish media outlet claim that the 24-year-old is set to have his loan cut short after failing to make a notable impact with the Spanish second division side.

Leeds' director of football, Victor Orta revealed that the Whites are trying to find a new club for Sacko to head out on loan for the remainder of the season.

"If we find a team that will give him more minutes, (Sacko) will leave."

Sacko has been left out of the matchday squad for the last five league games, and it's safe to say this loan spell has been one to forget for the winger.

He has made just five substitute appearances for Paco Herrera's side this season, which will be disappointing for both Sacko and Leeds, who would have hoped the loan would benefit him.

Orta's latest comments suggest that he isn't set to stay at Leeds for very long on his return, and they will be hoping to have his short-term future resolved at the earliest of opportunities in this transfer window.

The Verdict:

I'm surprised to see Leeds set to recall him back to Elland Road.

He isn't getting much game time at Las Palmas and Bielsa could be tempted to see how Sacko does back at Leeds before contemplating another loan deal for him.

Sacko has been out of favour recently with Leeds and terminating his current loan move is the best move for both parties involved.
