‘Surely they can’t turn that down’ – Charlton bid sees these fans discuss potential arrival
Charlton Athletic have launched a bid for Boreham Wood winger Sorba Thomas and are looking to close out a deal consisting of six figures.
The Addicks are looking to end the transfer window on a positive note as Steve Gallen and Lee Bowyer work hard to bring in new players with Thomas Sandgaard’s backing.
It looks as though one man they want to bring in is Thomas, then, with Ben Ransom revealing the news on Twitter on Thursday morning:
Charlton have made a six-figure bid for Boreham Wood winger Sorba Thomas.
21-year-old seen as one of the hottest properties in non-league.
He came through West Ham’s academy, and has also been tracked by QPR and Barnsley #cafc

Thomas scored five goals in the National League last year for Boreham Wood and is a winger capable of playing in a handful of roles across the attacking third.
Charlton are evidently serious about getting him in, then, and Addicks fans on Twitter have reacted to the news.
