According to reports from The Athletic, Derby County are interested in signing Fenerbahce defender Adil Rami this month.
The 34-year-old’s contract at the Turkish club is set to expire at the end of the season, with a move away now looking likely for the French international this week.
The central defender has made just five appearances for Fenerbahce since arriving from Marseille in the summer, and is now said to be keen on a move to the Premier League.
Derby are likely to be in the market for another centre-half this month – natural right-back Andre Wisdom started alongside Matt Clarke at the weekend, which highlights their lack of depth in that area of the pitch.
Can you get 12 out of 12 on this Derby quiz?
Derby have lacked an experienced leader in defence since sacking Richard Keogh earlier on this season, therefore bringing in a player of Rami’s experience could be a massive coup for Cocu’s side.
Here, we take a look at how Derby fans have reacted to this news…

How many ageing mercenaries do we want at the club????? This transfer makes no sense, this club is just stuck in a downward cycle.

If this is for real, this would be peak Derby scouting and recruitment! We're a laughing stock of this happens. No value whatsoever in this sort of deal!😂
