Simon Grayson faces Preston for the first time this season since his move to Sunderland as manager in the summer.

When the move went through, of course, Preston fans would surely have been worrying about their season in the Championship, but Alex Neil has come in and done a superb job.

Indeed, it's the Lilywhites that are looking like play-off contenders instead of Sunderland at the moment and Grayson will surely be worried that he is set for another loss, this time at the hands of his former employers.

For sure, then, Preston have to be considered favourites which makes the fact that Sunderland are apparently worth far more on transfermarkt hard to believe.

The website reckons that Preston's squad is worth £14.13m, whilst Sunderland's is worth £56.48m - well over three times as much right now.

That, then, may be down to the likes of Sunderland having the likes of Lamine Kone around but it also highlights just how poorly they are performing, as well as how well Preston are doing this season.

And, with that in mind, Preston will be determined to show once again they are a force to be reckoned with.
