Aston Villa manager Dean Smith will be hoping his side can get back to winning ways when they entertain high-flying Derby County at Villa Park on Saturday.

An option for Smith consider is loan winger Yannick Bolasie, who has only made substitute appearances so far for Villa as questions persist with his fitness.

But with the 29-year-old taking extra training sessions, could the time be right for Smith the unleash him from the start against Derby?

We discuss.....

Gary Hutchinson

They’ve not brought him in to look pretty in a tracksuit, have they?

Either start him or terminate the loan.

Given the cost attached to such a player they have to get a return from him as soon as they can.

Louie Chandler

Surely it must be.

I am amazed it has taken this long in the first place given the notable quality he possesses compared to the rest of the Championship.

You feel that once Smith gets the winger into the team Villa will start soaring up the table.

Jay Taylor

I have been saying for weeks Yannick Bolasie should be starting.

He is over his injury and slowly getting back to his best - and you won’t see him reach that if his appearances are sporadic and for just 15 minutes at a time.

He was added in on loan to do a job, so let him do that and show the Villa fans what he can do.
