Birmingham City were once again made to wait for their first three points of the season as West Brom held them to a 1-1 draw at St Andrews.

The Blues were good value and could have taken all three points has Jota not missed a first half penalty only minutes after putting the Blues in front, but it was not to be for Garry Monk's men, who are still searching for their first win of the campaign.

It was a solid performance though once again by Birmingham, and one of the key performers so far this term has been defender Harlee Dean, who took to Twitter following the game with a positive update for supporters.

Of course, Dean is quickly becoming a firm favourite of the Blues fans, and plenty of the loyal Birmingham City army were on hand to reply to the former Brentford man.
