For the second time in a matter of days, West Bromwich Albion rescued a late point from the penalty spot at the weekend, in a 1-1 draw with Derby County at Pride Park.

The Baggies were held to a 1-1 home draw with Reading in midweek, with Kenneth Zohore stepping up to convert from 12 yards to claim a late point for Slavem Bilic’s side.

On Saturday afternoon, Zohore stepped up and did exactly the same, converting from the spot on 84 minutes to put Albion back on level terms as the game entered its latter stages.

Before that, Derby had some magnificent chances to claim all three points – Martyn Waghorn also netted from the spot after just six minutes to open the scoring for Phillip Cocu’s side.

Championship Picks

The game could, and perhaps should have been dead and buried when Derby were awarded yet another penalty towards the end of the first half, but this time, Waghorn was denied by Sam Johnstone who was magnificent throughout.

The 26-year-old pulled off a series of fine saves to keep West Brom at bay, before punishing Derby in the end with Zohore’s goal.

Here, we take a look at Baggies fans’ reactions to Johnstone’s performance at the weekend…
