Sunderland's 2022/23 Championship fixtures are finally here.

After winning the League One play-offs with a Wembley victory over Wycombe Wanderers, the Black Cats finally secured their return to the second tier.

Indeed, Alex Neil has done a wonderful job so far in the North East, and it will certainly be interesting to see how they get on next campaign.

There was good news coming out of the club regarding the future of Lynden Gooch yesterday, and today, they have found out their fixtures for next campaign.

With the Championship season set to get underway on the weekend of the 30th July, the Black Cats' campaign gets underway with a fixture at the Stadium of Light against Coventry City..

Following that opening fixture, Sunderland will then face Bristol City (A), QPR (H), AND Sheffield United (A).

The club's 22/23 campaign will conclude with an away fixture against Preston North End.
