Born in Ipswich, Titus Bramble started to come through the ranks at Ipswich Town.

The central defender made his professional debut for his hometown club during the 1998/1999 campaign, with bramble going on to play just shy of 50 games in just under four years in Suffolk.

During his time with The Tractor Boys, Bramble embarked on a loan spell with nearby Colchester United, but he was restricted to just two appearances.

Playing Premier League football with Ipswich, a move within England's top tier was the next step of Bramble's progression.

The defender joined Newcastle United in 2002 for a fee of £6 million, with Sir Bobby Robson in charge of The Magpies at the time.

Spending five years in England's top-flight with The Magpies, Bramble edged past the 100 appearance mark, before Wigan Athletic became his next destination.

Proving to be an integral member of the squad in the next three years, Bramble appeared 96 times in the Premier League for the north-west outfit.

Moving to Sunderland for £1 million in 2010, Bramble embarked on what was his fourth different spell in the Premier League.

Appearing 23 times in his first season at The Stadium of Light, he followed that up with eight in his second, and 16 in his last.

He was then released by The Black Cats in 2013, proceeding to trial with West Ham United, but was not successful in getting a contract.

Bramble also trained with Ipswich that year, but similarly, nothing came of that either.

The centre-back played 10 times for England U21s during his playing career but was unable to represent his nation at senior level.

Spending five years after his playing career with The Tractor Boys as an academy coach, Bramble has also assisted with coaching England's U20s.

Bramble also coaches, and is an ambassador of the Futurestars Charity, which delivers sports and activities to underprivileged children in Africa.
