Sunderland will feel as though they can seriously build on their weekend's result after they got a hard-fought point from their clash with Wolves on Saturday.

The Black Cats showed that they have resilience and fight in their squad during the game and if they can keep that up they'll be just fine.

Indeed, they'll be looking to keep Lewis Grabban at the club for the rest of the season at the very least with the striker easily their main source of goals.

And, in potentially good news, Eddie Howe has confirmed that Grabban could be let go, hinting that there isn't a place for him at Bournemouth.

As quoted by Sky Sports, he said:

"With Lewis, we will make the right decision for him and for us.

"I think it will be something we will sit down and talk about.

"We have got some excellent strikers here. I have got some real options in that position, especially when you consider you have got the quality of Lys Mousset who is out of the squad at the moment."

Sunderland, then, might be able to get him on a permanent deal in January, then, but financial issues could prove an issue.

This story could go either way for them, then, but there will be hope that they can stump up the money to take the striker on a full time basis.
