We're getting towards last chance saloon in the transfer window and Sunderland fans will hope Chris Coleman has a plan up his sleeve.

The Black Cats have not had a good window so far this January and still need to replace the goals of Lewis Grabban and, to a lesser extent, James Vaughan.

With time really starting to go against them, though, they need to act fast and it remains to be seen if they've got the financial clout to get even late loan deals over the line.

Black Cats fans will be hoping they do, though, and so with all this in mind, let's take a look at two deals that need to be sorted ASAP...

 Kyle Lafferty

With Chris Martin set now to not join the club, Sunderland need to look elsewhere for a striker with experience to lead their line.

Kyle Lafferty is certainly someone who could be attainable from Hearts, and if Chris Coleman can get him working he could be the ideal forward for the Black Cats.

They'll need to make a substantial bid, though.

 Andy Lonergan

Lonergan looks on the way to the Stadium of Light but the club still needs to get this one over the line.

Chris Martin looked as though he'd be on the way before it fell through and the club needs to show the fans that they can get deals done without hitches.

Lonergan would surely be an upgrade on what the club has in goal currently.
