There was plenty of action to enjoy in League One this weekend just gone as the goals and drama flowed.

Here, then, we take a look at our latest team of the week for the third tier...

In goal, Ryan Allsop. Wycombe Wanderers might not have kept a clean sheet at the weekend but they did record a very impressive 2-1 away win at Bradford and Allsop helped preserve the win.

In defence, John Mousinho who helped Oxford United get their first win of the season alongside Cameron Burgess as Scunthorpe United earned a point and scored the first goals that Barnsley had conceded this season in the league. Finally, Jack Stacey features for his role in Luton's win over Shrewsbury.

In midfield, Lee Cattermole who scored two for Sunderland in a very rare goal-scoring showing for the veteran. Meanwhile, Jorge Grant has begun to find his feet at Luton and enjoyed a good game for the Hatters.

Out wide, Siriki Dembele continues to excel for Peterborough United and Ricky Holmes got on the scoresheet for Oxford United as the U's won 3-1.

In the final third, Peterborough's Matt Godden and Jason Cummings who helped tear Plymouth Argyle apart and Tom Hopper who continued his good form with the winner for Southend United at Bristol Rovers.
