Sunderland are the latest Premier League club to be tracking Jacob Murphy, according to Clubcall.
ESPN FC ran a story yesterday suggesting that Tottenham Hotspur, Southampton and Everton were all interested in the Norwich City starlet and now it appears that Sunderland have joined the race to land the young winger.
Jacob Murphy has contributed with seven goals and four assists in nineteen matches so far this season and this makes him hot property.
The 21-year-old has finally broken into the first team picture at Norwich after having previously spent periods out on loan at Swindon Town, Southend United, Blackpool, Scunthorpe United, Colchester United and the entirety of the 2015/16 season at League One Coventry City.
Murphy is a quick and skillful player who thrives off confidence and has a real eye for goal.
The former England under-20 international is being targeted by Premier League strugglers Sunderland, who are looking to stay afloat in the top flight.
