A number of European heavyweights are tracking Sunderland forward Joel Asoro, reports The Chronicle.
With more than seven giants from across Europe’s best leagues looking at Joel Asoro, Sunderland’s chances of keeping the attacker beyond this summer are looking increasingly slim.
From the Premier League, a trio of clubs have been mentioned as holding an interest in the youngster.
Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea are all interested while this report also claims that Arsenal have previously tabled a £3m bid for Asoro.
With two years left to run on his current deal at the Stadium of Light, Sunderland are able to hold out for much more than that.
Serie A duo AC Milan and Inter Milan are another two interested parties.
Meanwhile, French giants Paris Saint-Germain want to sign Joel Asoro.
Bayern Munich are also keen on the Sweden under-21 international, who is currently away at the European under-21 Championships.
This report also suggests that a lot more teams across Europe are tracking the teenage sensation, who can play as a central striker or as a winger.
The 18-year-old is renowned for his pace but has only managed four senior appearances (and only one brief cameo in the Premier League) for Sunderland despite their disastrous season.
Asoro was nominated for the Premier League 2 Player of the Year and the European Golden Boy award but Sunderland may struggle to keep him this year.
