League Two is certainly looking as competitive as ever and Coventry City will be hoping to be in the promotion mix come the end of the campaign.

They are currently six points off of the top of the table and, though there's a fair few sides between them and first, they'll feel confident of keeping pace with the likes of Jodi Jones in their side.

The young winger has been superb this season for the Sky Blues but that could yield some bad news for them if he decides it's time to move on.

Here at Football League World we've been thinking about such an eventuality, then, and these are the Championship clubs we think should go for him in the near future...

Alfie Burns

Jones scores goals from midfield, which could make him absolutely lethal in the Championship.

At 19 he has a huge future ahead of him, and would be well worth the risk for many in the second-tier.

Bristol City have made an excellent start to the season, and could be looking to an extra boost in the January transfer window.

Lee Johnson will already have an eye on the transfer window, and should seriously be considering taking a look at Jones.

Chris Gallagher

Coventry are lucky to have him! Jodi Jones is clearly capable of playing at a much higher level than League Two and a departure seems inevitable.

He's scoring goals and making key contributions for the Sky Blues and the likes of Sunderland and Ipswich should be taking notice.

His style and determination would suit both clubs and he may be a shrewd investment over the long-term.

George Dagless

He could be perfect for Brentford.

The Bees have got an exciting squad and Jones would surely add to that with him still only a teenager but more than capable of holding his own.

The men from Griffin Park have got a real knack of looking after young players and Jones would likely reach the next level in terms of performance in west London.

Where should he go next? Let us know below!
