According to the Daily Mail’s live blog (24/7, 16:47), Sunderland and Hull City have both made enquiries about AFC Bournemouth’s, Lewis Grabban.

Grabban has two-years remaining on his deal with Bournemouth, but the Mail’s report suggests that £2m will be enough to lure the striker away from Dean Court this summer.

Both Sunderland and Hull are looking in the transfer market for reinforcements this summer, following their respective relegations from the Premier League at the end of the 2016/17 season.

Sunderland and Simon Grayson are looking to replace Jermain Defoe’s goals, and the Black Cats have already added attacking duo, Aiden McGeady and James Vaughan, to their squad this summer.

Whilst Hull have lost a number of high-profile players following relegation, with Leonid Slutsky desperately looking to add to his three summer signings.

Grabban has struggled for opportunities with Bournemouth in the Premier League, but the striker has an excellent record in the Sky Bet Championship.

The 29-year-old had spells with both Bournemouth and Norwich City in the second tier between 2013 and 2015, scoring 34 goals across two seasons.

Grabban spent time on-loan with Reading in the Championship last season, making 19 appearances for Jaap Stam’s side and scoring three goals.

Where do you think Grabban will be playing his football next season? Do you think he would be a good addition for Sunderland or Hull? Let us know your thoughts!
