Sunderland and AFC Bournemouth eyeing move for Championship winger

Premier League sides Sunderland and AFC Bournemouth are amongst the sides chasing Queens Park Rangers winger Junior Hoilett, according to the Sunday People.
The 25-year-old joined QPR in 2012 on a free transfer, a fee decided by tribunal, after refusing a contract at Blackburn following their relegation from the Premier League.
The club have since been relegated from the Premier League twice whilst he’s been at Loftus Road, and are now facing a second spell in the Championship, with the west London club now looking to offload him.
Bournemouth and Sunderland are among the suitors willing to take him on, and his experience in the Premier League could make him a shrewd purchase for any Premier League side.
Hoilett is currently earning £45,000, an enormous amount for a Championship player, which is stalling these clubs from making a move – and it is not surprising to hear that the R’s want to get him off of the books at Loftus Road.
The former SC Paderborn loanee isn’t the player he used to be, and has not performed to the level he did when he was plying his trade at Ewood Park – and a move to a new club could be what he needs to rejuvenate and get his career back on track.
QPR fans… What do you make of this news? Is Hoilett good enough for the Premier League? Should you sell him? Who will you replace him with? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
