Fulham full-back Steven Sessegnon has given his snap verdict on brother Ryan's performance for Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Sessegnon came on for the final 15 minutes of the away clash with Red Star Belgrade, chipping in with an assist for Christian Eriksen's 85th minute goal, and his twin brother, and Spurs' summer transfer target, has now reacted.

Sharing his sibling's post on his Instagram story, Steven reacted simply with a goat emoji, implying that Ryan is the Greatest Of All Time - an exageration, but a heart-warming sign of familial affection nontheless.

The Sun reported back in September that the North London club were plotting a move to bring in the Fulham right-back to join his borther under Mauricio Pochettino's stewardship.

They reportedly tried to bring both in as a pair during the summer window, but the South West Londoner's scoffed at the offer of £3million for the defender.

During his time with Fulham, Ryan racked up 120 appearances, scoring 25 goals and assisting 18 more.

His brother is currently sitting on 12 first-team appearances, although has only become a regular fixture in the side since the start of the current campaign.

The verdict

I am not sure you can read much more into this other than Steven showing support for his brother.

However, it will be very interesting to see whether or not Spurs come back in for the other Sessegnon during the January transfer window.

But given his importance to Scott Parker's side and their intention on winning promotion, it will most likely cost the North Londeners a pretty penny to bring him in.
