New Sheffield Wednesday boss Garry Monk will be hoping for a first home win when his side take on Fulham at Hillsborough tomorrow.

The ex-Birmingham manager, who took over during the international break, enjoyed the perfect start last week as his side recorded a convincing 2-0 victory at Huddersfield.

Despite that, Monk will be aware that promotion chasing Fulham will represent a much tough test and he could make changes as a result.

Here we look at the XI he should go with...

Firstly, the Owls defended really well last time out, which is a major positive and with the influential Tom Lees expected to miss out again, it makes little sense to change the defensive unit.

Therefore, we expect the same back five to line up, including Dominic Iorfa at centre-back, which hasn't always been his preferred position.

Aleksandar Mitrovic's physicality will provide the ex-Wolves man and Julian Borner with a real test and they will have to be on top form if Wednesday are to get anything from this game.

Given Fulham's quality in midfield, they are likely to dominate possession and Monk could do with adding a more natural central midfielder to provide more solidity.

So, Massimo Luongo could come in for Jacob Murphy, with the on-loan Newcastle winger not fully convincing since joining. That will allow Adam Reach to revert to a wide midfield role, something he has done plenty of times in his career.

Sam Hutchinson will add a bit of steel in the middle of the park, whilst Barry Bannan will be responsible for creating chances and feeding the wide men, including the quick Kadeem Harris.

After his goal last week, Steven Fletcher will lead the line and he will have a big role to play off the ball if the Owls are to make it two from two under the new boss.
