‘Such an odd move’, ‘Lost the plot’ – Plenty of Watford fans respond as transfer deadline day announcement emerges

Watford have allowed Domingos Quina to leave the club on loan, the club have confirmed.

The young midfielder has completed a deal to join Spanish side Granada until the end of the season.

After completing a move to Vicarage Road in 2018 it was hoped that the 21-year-old would go on to fulfil the potential that had seen him thrive in West Ham’s development team.

But after making 37 appearances for the Hornets it seems that his future at the club is in question.

Quina had a decent amount of first team football for Watford so far this term, having made 15 appearances for the club with eight of those coming in the starting XI.

However a hamstring injury hampered his run of form and that has meant that he’s endured a spell on the sidelines that stretches back to mid-December.

As a result the player has been allowed to head to Granada for the rest of the campaign – a decision which hasn’t been gone down too well with certain corners of the fanbase.

Here’s what a selections of supporters had to say on the matter.
