According to the Birmingham Mail, Wolves are looking to sign Joao Cancelo this summer with him attracting the interest of many Premier League sides.

Portuguese, he would obviously fit in at the Black Country club in terms of the players around him and the dressing room.

Would he be a good addition on the pitch though? We discuss...

Alfie Burns

Cancelo certainly fits what Wolves are looking to do at Molineux.

I think the 24-year-old would be a really good addition to Nuno Santo’s squad.

Wolves’ charismatic manager seems to get the best out of his players and I think a move would be great for Cancelo’s development.

Such a talent would improve Wolves too.

Jay Williams

Cancelo fits Wolves' system perfectly and could be the right-wing-back Nuno has been looking for. The Portugal international would surely feel settled at Molineux with a Portuguese manager and a number of fellow countrymen playing for the first-team.

And, at the age of 24, Cancelo is young but already experienced, having played for Benfica, Valencia and Inter Milan so moving to England shouldn't faze him.

Chris Gallagher

It would be amazing.

It seems highly unlikely that he would make the move to Molineux but you can never be sure after the transfers they've secured in the past year.

Cancelo is ideally suited to the wing-back role Nuno plays with and would be a great addition for Wolves.

Ben Barkworth

Cancelo would be an expensive acquisition, but he would be a good fit for their current system due to his comfort at providing the attacking wide threat as a wing-back.
