‘Such a liability it hurts’ – These Charlton fans react to player’s poor display against Millwall

Charlton suffered defeat to Millwall on Saturday, which means that the Addicks have now gone 23 years without beating their rivals.
It was an unfortunate way to lose as Matt Smith headed home with just seconds left in the encounter. The result means that Lee Bowyer’s side haven’t won since a 3-0 victory over Derby, five games ago.
After a strong start to the season, Charlton have now slipped down to 11th in the table–six points from the top six.
The game was talked up by supporters and players from both sides, who stated how big the fixture was in the build-up to the game last week.
One man who didn’t have the best of performances was Naby Sarr. The Charlton player couldn’t keep out Smith’s header and some felt his attempt to beat the Millwall striker was rather half-hearted.
Sarr was playing as a centre-back and had been bullied on a couple of occasions in the game but none more so than the last-minute header.
Here’s how Charlton fans reacted to Sarr’s display on Saturday…
Will Charlton finish in the top half?
Yes

No

I don’t wanna see Naby Sarr in a Charlton shirt again.

Sorry but naby sarr is such a liability it hurts. 2 games in a row woeful performances. Hes not good enough for this league. Oshilajah needs to play ahead of him. Quicker, and actually leaves the floor for a header.

If naby sarr is in the team come Cardiff I’ll blow my top , oshilaja has been so solid every time he has played

@nabysarr Im not going to comment on the performance today but can I just ask so we can understand why did you not try to attack the ball for both their goals today? You’re 6ft 5! Behind your man for 1st & not goal side & just watched the ball for 2nd. Don’t get it! 😔 #cafc
