Bristol City secured an important victory on Wednesday night as they overcame Derby County to stay within touching distance of the play-offs.
The Robins were superb for the first 60 minutes of the match, as new signings Nahki Wells and Filip Benkovic put them ahead before half-time.
Famara Deidhiou then put them three up with half-an-hour to play. However, Derby made it a nervy ending for the Robins as Martyn Waghorn and Chris Martin both scored to give the Rams a lifeline.
They couldn’t find an equaliser and City held on to go within three points of second-placed Leeds United. It’s set to be an important fixture when the two sides face-off this weekend at Elland Road.
Lee Johnson and his side will be hoping that they can put their mark on the Championship top six in the next couple of games as they take on the top two sides in the division.
Football League World journalist Dean Cooke asked Facebook group Bristol City BS3 what improvements Johnson needed to make ahead of the next match.

Chris Mountford: Go forward a lot more be brave not negative defensive-minded.
Dan Stockford: Stick to 4-4-2 and learn not to sit back.
Stewart Price: Played well going forward last night, but can’t afford to defend like that against Leeds and WBA or we’ll get a battering.
Keith Treasure: Don’t change a winning team. Play players in form, not your favourites, make the right substitutions not like last night where he was very lucky to get away with it but most import stop being so defensive at home keep that for away.
Martyn James: Lee was brave last night… Fair play… Only criticism I have, was the subs were very strange… It almost cost us the win…
Stuart Hodge: Score more, concede less.
Ian Horrell: Eliasson wasn’t helping Hunt at all.
