Nottingham Forest have made a promising start to the Championship season under Sabri Lamouchi and are currently inside the play-off places.
Despite their 1-0 defeat to Cardiff at the weekend, the Reds’ start to the campaign under their new head coach has given fans at the City Ground plenty of reasons to feel optimistic about their chances of returning to the Premier League.
There’s still a long way to go in the promotion race, though, and Forest fans have taken to social media today to discuss Reds players from the past.
City Ground HQ asked Forest supporters on Twitter who they feel is the best left-footer to have ever played for Forest and many Reds fans were quick to respond to the question and give their thoughts.
Former left-back Stuart Pearce and winger John Robertson – who helped Forest win back-to-back European Cups – were among the names to be mentioned.
