Stuart Dallas has sent a message to his Leeds United teammate Alfie McCalmont on social media, after the youngster claimed that he is his favourite Northern Ireland player.
McCalmont is currently on international duty with the Northern Ireland Under-21s and was taking part in a very brief Q&A session for the national side’s media with his teammate Ethan Galbraith, when he named Dallas as his favourite Northern Ireland player.
Dallas, who has been a key player for Leeds so far this season, clearly appreciated McCalmont’s answer and sent a brief message to his teammate on social media in response to being named his favourite Northern Ireland player.

Dallas has been one of the standout players for Leeds so far this season and has started every game for the Whites in the Championship, scoring in the 3-0 win at Stoke City.
The versatile 28-year-old has been used at right-back and in midfield this season, and signed a new four-year contract extension at Elland Road last month.
McCalmont came through the academy at Leeds and has made two appearances for the Whites in the Carabao Cup this season.
Dallas and McCalmont clearly have a good relationship off the field, as do a lot of the Leeds players and I’m sure he would have appreciated being named his teammate’s favourite player.
McCalmont is a very talented young player and I’m sure he’ll be hoping to follow in Dallas’ footsteps and go on to make a name for himself both in the first-team at Leeds and for the Northern Ireland senior side.
As far as his future at Leeds is concerned, he’s certainly got a lot of potential and he just needs to keep working hard in the hope that he will get more opportunities in the first team at Elland Road in the future.
